Special projects and programs are continuously being developed to promote the sharing of innovative, successful instructional strategies among customer school districts and to increase community awareness of school activities. The Special Projects Director coordinates the activities of established special projects or programs and the development and implementation of new programs involving the Lake County Educational Service Center (LCESC) and all Lake County school districts. The ESC currently coordinates the following countywide initiatives:
- Lake County Spelling Bee
- Lake County Administrative Retreat
- Lake County Schools’ Exhibit at the Lake County Fair
- All County Boards Dinner
