Design Thinking 101 with PSE + HIVE Makerspace
Who: Teachers K-12 and Administrators , Grades K-12
What: A three-part design thinking and maker education experience for K-12 teachers. Join Lakeland’s HIVE makerspace team and Partners in Science Excellence to navigate a human-centered design challenge in a virtual gathering, then visit Lakeland’s campus to try your hand at makerspace equipment. This series is for beginners and seasoned design thinkers alike; all are welcome. Bring your sense of curiosity and your willingness to actively participate!

Note: This is a three-part series with synchronous virtual events and in-person learning opportunities. The first session will be virtual via zoom, participants will be provided with the zoom link prior to September 15th. The second session will be held at Lakeland Community College and the date will be scheduled by participants during the first session. The third session will be virtual via Zoom on Wednesday, October 6 from 4:00 - 5:30 PM, participants will be provided with the zoom link.
