Description:

Who: Audience: Teachers, Coaches, and Administrators

         Grade level: K-12

What: Join our transformative series of 4 professional development sessions to learn how to adopt a personalized learning mindset with the Ohio Personalized Learning Network (OPLN) Framework. Personalized Learning & EdTech Specialist Jake Miller will lead this cohort, which includes content designed in collaboration with KnowledgeWorks and other Ohio Personalized Learning Specialists. Each session offers a comprehensive exploration of key concepts, examples of those practices in real schools, opportunities to gain insights from fellow educators who are actively implementing these principles, dynamic discussions with educators in similar roles, and collaboration with team members (if your colleagues attend). Once attendees understand the essence of personalized learning, they will learn about concepts including learner profiles, learning progressions, flexible learning environments, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), pre-assessments, goal-setting techniques, progress monitoring strategies, and learning pathways. Note: there will likely be a second year of this cohort that goes even deeper into personalized learning strategies. Additional details are forthcoming.
