The award program was established by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association to promote student achievement and to recognize outstanding students. One senior from each county within the State of Ohio receives this award annually. Eligible students must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement as indicated by high school grades, test scores, and awards. Extra-curricular or community activities including class offices held, student government activities, athletics, music and/or theater, church activities, awards, and honors are submitted for all high school years. In addition, the recipient submits an outline of their short-term and long-term goals, both professional and personal. Due to the COVID-19 health emergency and Governor DeWine's executive order limiting social gatherings we regretfully announce that the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Awards luncheon on April 27th has been canceled and postponed indefinitely. In addition, we are postponing the meet and greet with our Governing Board that was scheduled for May 5th. Kevin received his award along with $200 from the Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve. Congratulations Kevin!
