NEOSTEAM23

Dear NEOSTEAM23 Community - sponsors, volunteers, teachers, students, administrators, and supporters:

Thank you ALL for playing a part in making this year’s NEOSTEAM 2023 event at Lake Erie College a success.

Over two days, we saw over 220 students, teachers, administrators, and counselors from 11 Northeast Ohio school districts hear from a diverse group of STEAM professionals about their journey from high school to career, engage in workshops that activated deep thinking and creative inquiry, make connections to how STEAM can support transformative experiences and systemic shifts in our teaching and learning ecosystem, and witness first-hand how Lake Erie College can be a beacon for a successful transition into college or career through their educational paths and career development programs.

Gaitway Greenhouse Day of GIving 2023

The Gaitway Greenhouse Project started in the Spring of 2020 after Gaitway High School was awarded with a small grant from the Geauga Soil & Water Conservation District.  Gaitway students constructed the Gaitway Greenhouse during the 2021-2022 school year on the campus of Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center.  From 2022 until now, Gaitway students took part in various greenhouse projects that supplied local restaurants with edible garnishes.  Unfortunately, the windy weather in Bainbridge Township has decimated our greenhouse to a point of no repair.  No amount of duct tape could hold the panels in place.  We are forced to start anew and to rebuild!  We are asking for your help to raise money for this rebuild of the Gaitway Greenhouse.  Please consider donating to our Gaitway Greenhouse Day of Giving 2023!
