Jennifer Felker serves as the Superintendent for the Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve, bringing over 30 years of experience in educational leadership. Previously, she served as State Associate Superintendent at the Ohio Department of Education, where she led significant improvements in education. Jennifer's prior roles include:
Director of Educational Programs and Services- Orange City School District
Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent Pro-Tempore- ESC of Cuyahoga County/NEOESC
Director of Operations - ESC of Cuyahoga County/NEOESC
Special Education Supervisor- Olmsted Falls City School District/Maple Heights City School District
Jennifer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a license in K-12 Special Education from Bowling Green State University, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Cleveland State University with licenses as an Elementary and Middle School Principal, and a Superintendent license from Cleveland State University. She also completed post-master's doctoral coursework at Cleveland State University.
Currently, Jennifer oversees the strategic direction and leadership of the ESC of the Western Reserve, using her expertise to support education initiatives. She is also involved in various state-wide and national boards and initiatives. Throughout her career, Jennifer has focused on leadership development, educational improvement, and fostering collaboration within academic environments.
