These trainings are offered for teachers, any and all school staff, school counselors, social workers, and administrators in order to provide basic education and information about LGBTQ+ youth. Additionally, these follow up training are an extension of learning that was offered by Navigate Counseling at the October LACA meeting.
Topic: Creating a Safe Space for Our LGBTQ+ Students

This session will give you a better understanding of basic knowledge of LGBTQ terminology and language, misconceptions and microaggressions, how to support LGBTQ youth, and how to be an ally.
